They have recently expanded their product line to include an exciting stormwater product that helps reduce pollution and waste from entering Australian waterways and are looking for a Business Development Manager to take the product to market.
The Opportunity
Based in the ACT and servicing the ACT and Greater NSW region, the Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue, building and nurturing relationships and representing our client on a day to day basis with their target audience base focusing on evangelising the new product and drumming up interest and growth opportunities. - Driving research and development program and marketing program around the stormwater treatment technologies
- Prepare and deploy the integrated sales & marketing strategies for new and existing products to build awareness
- Working with high-level decision makers across the private and public sector
- Working with the sales and support teams to deliver to client expectations
- Assisting with planning and implementation of sales strategy
- Engage with and be seen as an expert in the stormwater, environmental and development industries
About You
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is technical, maybe with a background in civil engineering, environmental or construction. In particular you will succeed in this role if you have:
- Previous solutions consulting or business development experience in the stormwater, environmental or development industries
- Good insight, conversant knowledge and understanding of stormwater management and environmental drivers for change
- Experience with assisting in solutions specifications and designs
- The ability to work with statutory & regulatory bodies, follow processes, and obtain approvals
