About the Opportunity
Based out of Western Sydney, our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to help them expand and service more NSW schools, inspire more children and create more geniuses!
With proven growth and a clear need in the market, this is an opportunity to take a role and turn it into a solid career. This is an ideal role for someone who has a background in direct sales within the education sector, or has a strong background in the education industry, as from the outset you'll be able to utilise your networks to drive growth.
About the Role
On a day-to-day basis, you will work with a team to help develop and manage the organisation's sales strategy and ensure that inquiries are nurtured through the sales process efficiently and effectively.
You will be working alongside the leadership team on the development and execution of the strategy to generate enough sales leads to meet or exceed annual growth targets.
Internally you will need be involved in collaboration and communication however externally you'll be representing our client to the education sector with a high degree of professionalism.

- Managing the end-to-end sales process from prospecting and qualifying, through to converting and closing
- Working with internal teams to develop and execute the sales plans
- Handling initial inquiries from interested prospects via phone, email or in-person
- Developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers
- Managing the required paperwork for new programs that are sold
- Coordinating renewal and up-sell opportunities
About You
Our client is looking for an experienced business development manager with a proven track record in making sales. Ideally, you will have:
- 5 years of proven sales experience in the education sector
- A focus on building and maintaining relationships
- A consultative and solutions focused approach to selling
- Exceptional communication skills
- A NSW drivers licence
- Australian Permanent Residency
- A good understanding of the Australian Curriculum
